What is Mere?

Within the terms offered by Mere, the price of the item/service does not go up by a single tetri – in other words, you enjoy an effective 0%.

You can use Mere in both physical and online stores, in Georgia and abroad. You can also withdraw cash or transfer money with Mere.

You can visit any of our service centers, or go to the desks of our partner companies (TBC, Liberty, etc.), or download the Silk app and get the card digitally, completely remotely.

The Mere installment limit is approved in the range of 50 to 30,000 GEL.

You can change your MERE card credit limit at any time by requesting a credit limit increase/decrease through the mobile bank.

At partner merchants you can spread the amount over 3 to 12 months. At all other merchants – up to 45 days.

Yes, you can. The fee for cash withdrawal is 3%, with a minimum of 6 GEL.

If you have already used the Mere card, the debt calculated on the settlement day must be paid on the date you chose as your payment day. You will receive an SMS notification about the debt twice: on the settlement day (13 days before the payment date) and the day before the payment date, indicating the minimum and recommended payments.

The minimum payment is an amount set in advance by the bank that must be paid for the debt to be covered without becoming overdue. If you pay only the minimum payment, interest will accrue at 36% per annum; however, interest is charged not on the entire amount used, but only on the difference between the recommended and minimum amounts. For example: if the recommended payment is 500 GEL and the minimum is 300 GEL, interest will accrue on 200 GEL (500 – 300 GEL), calculated by the exact number of days.

The recommended payment is the amount the bank recommends you pay; by paying it, you enjoy a completely interest-free installment plan – effective 0%. The recommended payment can be made after the settlement day, up to and including your chosen payment date, either in full or in stages. For example: if your recommended payment totals 200 GEL, you can deposit the 200 GEL in stages between the settlement day and the payment date.

You can repay the debt, as well as top up your limit, through the following channels: self-service payment terminals (under Financial Institutions select Silk Bank, then "Mere", and deposit the amount); you can also deposit the amount at the bank's cash desk; a transfer from another bank (when transferring from another bank, take into account business days and interbank transfer hours); a transfer between accounts using the mobile app. Note: if you need an account number to deposit funds, you can very easily copy your Mere card account number from the mobile app.

If you want to reduce your monthly payment by extending the term, you can extend the payment from the mobile bank up to a maximum of 15 months; the fee for each added month is 1%. Both the amount spent and the corresponding service fee are spread evenly over the new period you choose. Please note that an amount equal to the fee payable must be available on your Mere card account. Payment extension is also available for cash withdrawals and transfers made from the Mere card. You can use payment extension at any time: before the first payment, or after one or several payments. If you have made several payments with your Mere card, you must select the specific payment (transaction) you want to extend. For example: if you paid at a store where the amount is spread over 6 months, have already made the first recommended payment and want to extend the remaining 5 payments, you can extend the term by 1 to 10 months inclusive. If you extend by 1 month, you pay 1% of the amount, and the amount together with the 1% service fee is spread over 6 months; or you can add a maximum of 10 months and spread the amount over 15 months together with the service fee, which comes to 10% of the amount.
